Competing interests of factions are dangerous and propogate a tyranny of majority. A large, diverse, representative style government will insure that no faction will come to dominance.

Seperation of power in a representative government and a system of checks and balances will prevent one branch of government of getting too strong and destroying the republic. Want ambition to counteract ambition, compromise will lead to progress.

A strong unitary executive is necessary because he is embued with energy, which is the ability to undertake executive duties without delay or division, thus a singular executive creates a unified executive branch. Also, a single individual makes it easier for the public to hold that one individual accountable.

Unorthodox lifetime tenure allows a judge to be impartial because he won’t be swayed by public opinion, but by his own sense of justice. Judicial review allows for the S.C to check if any legislature is constitutional and insure that the country follows the rules laid out in the Constitution.

Necessary and proper clause and the supremacy clause demonstrate how the Constitution gives the government excessive power. This power manifests by the federal governments ability to eventually overpower state and local governments, both of which are better suited to serve the wishes of their people. Also, republic don’t work in large areas with alot of people.
