How are they made

A

1 - Plants and animals die and sink deep at the bottom of the sea.
2 - The plant and animal layer gets covered with silt,sand,mud.
3 - Over times more remains from the sea creates pressure and compresses the dead animals/plants into oil.
4 - Oil moves up through porous rocks and eventually make a reservoir.

How do we get fossil fuel

A

Nowadays, we drill down through layers of sand, silt and rock to reach the oil and gas deposits deep down.
