Pros end - post olecranon, ant coronoid process surrounding trochlear notch
Dist - shaft narrows, small rounded head, downward stolid process
Describe the Superior radioulna joint
Fibro-osseous ring - radial notch of ulna and annular ligament
Quadrate ligament between bones
Annular Ligament horseshoe shape round radial head
Describe the inferior radioulnar joint
Weak loose fibrous capsule - UN of radius to ulna
Synovial membrane
Interosseus membrane
Describe Pronator Teres
Pronation, weak flexer
Orig- med epi, pronator ridge of ulnar
Insert- mid lat radius
Median nerve C8- T1
Describe Pronator Quadratus
Pronation
Orig- distal ant ulna
Insert- distal post, lat,ant radius
Radial nerve C5-6
Describe the Supinator
Supination
Orig- lat epi, LCL, AL, sup crest ulna
Insert- post, lat, ant aspect prod 1/3 radius
