A
- Braking distance – surface of the road, weight of the vehicle, tires being inflated
- Thinking distance – alcohol, drugs, tiredness, poor visibility

A
– increases the time rate ,change of momentum to zero ,force of impact reduces

What happens when a parachute drops
A
o When dropped both velocity and drag are 0 as drag acts on moving objects but weight pulls it towards the Earth .
o When the object moves ,the drag force act on it against the movement so the object is accelerating
o The drag force increases to the point it matches the weight and there is no unbalanced force so it reaches terminal velocity
