- Leading / Delivering child and family health services (pregnancy to 5 years) offering parenting support, advice on family health and minor illnesses
- New birth visits which include advice on feeding, weaning, dental health, physical and developmental checks
- Providing families with specific support on subjects such as post-natal depression, recognising signs of abuse and neglect in children
What is the function of the Macmillan Nurses in terms of the Primary Health Care Team?
These nurses are specialise in cancer and palliative care providing support and information to people with cancer, and their families, friends and carers, from the point of diagnosis onwards

Treat those with physical problems and promote health through preventative, treatment, and rehab
