Steps to file grievance:

-In (10) days the FOP grievance committee shall determine if a grievance exists.
-If yes, the committee/employee shall forward the grievance within (5) days to the Chief of Police and a copy of HR
-The Chief of Police shall submit his answer in writing to the employee, FOP grievance committee, and HR withing (10) calendar days.
-If not settled, it shall be sent to the Mayor within (7) calendar days
-The Mayor or designee shall submit an answer to the Chief of Police , employee, and FOP grievance committee within (7) calendar days.
