1 medium yellow onion (peeled, halved lengthwise and thinly sliced into half moon shapes)
4 garlic cloves peeled and halved
1 lb flat italian beans trimmed on both ends, strings removed if any, and then rinsed and cut in 2” lengths.
1 tsp salt

Lebanese meza
When they put several small dishes and we all share them
Mezza is the Lebanese version of an ‘entre,’ technically, ‘entres. ‘
It is about abundance in variety and sharing amongst all who are sitting at the table.
Simple, yet elaborate, mezza is consumed at a pace that allows for conversation, laughter, and experience to be included in between.
