A
- Pre-eclampsia
- Intrauterine growth restriction
- Bilateral renal agenesis
- Twin-to-twin tranfusion syndrome
- Post-term gestation

What is Potter sequence?
A
Bilateral renal agenesis AND pulmonary hypoplasia

What is renal agenesis?
A
The complete absence of either one kidney (unilateral) or both kidneys (bilateral)

What is pulmonary hypoplasia?
A
Small, underdeveloped lungs

What are the symptoms of cholestasis in pregnancy?
A
- Severe itching - this is how diagnosis is usually made clinically
- Jaundice
- Obstructive liver function tests
- Normal WBC count
- No evidence of coagulopathy

What are the symptoms of acute fatty liver of pregnancy?
A
- Malaise
- Fatigue
- Nausea
Mainly non-specific symptoms

What are the 2 signs of early pre-eclampsia?
A
- Hypertension
- Proteinuria

What are the signs and symptoms of later pre-eclampsia?
A
- Severe headache
- Vision problems (blurring/flashes)
- Pain just below the ribs of RUQ (location of liver)
- Vomiting
- Sudden swelling of the face, hands or feet
