  • DI- Head trauma or disease that affects posterior pituitary so it does not release ADH

Excess fluids, not enough solutes
Hyponatremia
-Nausea, disorientation, vomiting
-Can cause neurological problems
-Raise the levels slowly, or you can affect the pons
