- Set MCP up for departure procedure
- The BOX!: Get that POS & plan
activated - Center console: rdy for engine start
parking brake typically on (3k psi) - Center aft: radios and trim
- Oxygen test, NWS, lights
- Flight instruments and displays
What are the normal sequence of events leading up to engine start?
- PF/Capt: Dark cockpit setup pilot, MX forms, electrical power up, Capt Preflight
- PM/FO: walk around, FNG pre-flight flow
- CAPT: “preflight checklist”
- PF/Capt: Taxi and Takeoff Brief
- “Before engine start”

How do you “step” through your CDU plan?
After inputting and executing plan, you have to activate and execute your plan.
Then, to “step” through to check each leg, go to “legs” and “Map” on EFIS which will give you the step option in LS 6
