  1. PF/Capt: Dark cockpit setup pilot, MX forms, electrical power up, Capt Preflight
  2. PM/FO: walk around, FNG pre-flight flow
  3. CAPT: “preflight checklist”
  4. PF/Capt: Taxi and Takeoff Brief
  5. “Before engine start”
    a. start flows
    b. Capt informs gnd pers of engine start (only if in chalks)
    c. FO informs ramp control of start
    and push clearance (Tail L/R)
    d. Capt tells GND PERS brakes are released, rdy push, tail L/R
    e. Capt asks GND personnel “cleared to start?”

How do you “step” through your CDU plan?

A

After inputting and executing plan, you have to activate and execute your plan.

Then, to “step” through to check each leg, go to “legs” and “Map” on EFIS which will give you the step option in LS 6

About 3-5 miles from FAF good idea to slow down 210 and configure

FYI On AP with VNAV engaged, the airspeed window should stay closed and the bug will move to your flap setting automatically.
