- Ventilation - As req’d
- Map Lighting - OFF (as req’d)
- Panel Lighting - As req’d
- Circuit Breaker PNL LTG - Checked / OFF
- W/S WIPER Ice Detect Light - Checked
- Yoke PTT - Centered
FO Audio Control Panel - VHF 1/2 - Selected
- UHF (Sat Phone) - Selected
- SERV/INT - Selected
- Speaker - Selected (as req’d) (On DH3, HOT MIC selected OFF to hear Speaker)
- All Other Knobs - OFF / Volume Min (unless req’d)
- MIC Selector - BOOM / As req’d
- Flight Compartment Expanded Flow - Complete
After Start
F/O
- Anti-Skid (DH1) - Tested / ON
- Volts / Loads - AC Checked (as soon as unfeathered)
To be done after Pushback (if applicable)

- Ignition - MANUAL
- Bleed Air - As req’d / MIN
- Condition Levers - MAX
- Transponder - ALT / ABOVE
- PA Light - OFF / 2 Chimes
Line-Up / BELOW THE LINE
F/O
- Exterior Lights - ON & WHITE
- Control Locks - OFF & FREE
- (DH1) FLIGHT / TAXI SWITCH - FLIGHT
Captain’s Takeoff
F/O Flow
- Hand on base of Power Lever, follow until 70% and tap hand of Cap from under, set T.O. Power
- Verify spoilers retracted and Autofeather armed
- Power set, Autofeather Armed
- At 70kts, 70 Knots
- At V1, V1, Rotate
- Confirm Positive Rate, Positive Rate
- When ask, Select Landing Gear Up and AUX, NAV (if needed)
- At 400ft AGL, select Bleed Air to ON / MIN and adjust Torque
- FRA, FRA Flow
F/O’s Takeoff
F/O Flow
- Advance Power Levers to approx. 70% Torque.
- When Captain taps hand, both hand on control column.
- When called 70knots, call Crosscheck
- When called Rotate, rotate smoothly at 3deg per second until FD attitude. (12/10/9 depending)
- When called positive rate, GEAR UP or required to follow SID, GEAR UP, AUX, NAV
- At FRA, Flaps 0, Climb Power
- Hand back on Power Levers to adjust
- At 1,500ft AAE, SET IAS 165kts, FGC Mode, After Takeoff Checklist.
FRA
P/M
- Vfri Speed - Verify
- Flaps - Select 0
- Autofeather - Deselect
- Power - Set (1050 RPM)
- Synchrophase - ON
After Takeoff (DH3)
P/M
- SPU - NORM
- Autofeather - Confirm OFF
- Aux Pumps - OFF
- Approach & Taxi Lights - OFF
- Ignition - As req’d
- Bleed Air - ON / NORM
10 000ft Flow & Check
PF calls 10,000ft Checks, Torque set at ____
1. SYNCHOPHASE Switch - OFF
2. Climb Power - 900 Np, Torque as per request and QRPC
3. SYNCHROPHASE Switch - ON
4. Exterior Lights - OFF
5. Pressurization - Checked
6. Ignition and De-Ice - As req’d
7. Outside / Wing Inspection Lights - Checked
8. CHIME Button - CHIME
Descent

- Seatbelt Signs - ON
- Approach Lights - ON
- Fuel Transfer - OFF
- Aux Pumps - ON
- SPU - ON
- TCAS - Below
10 Miles Out Flow

- Flaps - 15 or 35 indicating
Approach Gate

- Bleed Air Switches - Validate :
* ON = Paved runway using Supp 21
* OFF = Gravel or without Supp 21
