While airborne the crew receive an unidentified class A alarm, what should they do?
Land as soon as practical
Define the following terms: “LAND when PRACTICAL”, “LAND ASAP”, “LAND IMMEDIATELY”, “Continue Flight” and “Check Mission Feasibility”
LAND when PRACTICAL: Extended flight is possible but not recommended, divert to nearest airfield/landing site where assistance can be expected.
LAND ASAP: Prolonged flight presents unacceptable risk to life, immediate diversion to nearest point of safe landing.
LAND IMMEDIATELY: Structural disintegration and/or loss of aerodynamic flight is imminent. Primary consideration is to assure survival of occupants.
Continue Flight: System performance may be degraded but not further actions is required.
Check mission feasibility: Check that the aircrafts current system performance are suitable for the mission being flown.
How does a single engine failure affect the fuel state of the aircraft?
An unusable quantity of approx 110KG of fuel remains on the side of the failed engine
How often can a popped circuit breaker be reset?
A CB should only be reset once
