How many GPS receivers are there?
2 independent receivers
Operation is automatic
What does the GPS warning light on theIRS overhead panel mean?
Failure of BOTH GPS sensor units OR
Failure of a single GPS sensor unit when either System Annunciator Panel is pressed to initiate a recall
With single GPS failure, light extingushes when System recall is set
What is the function of the Display Selector Switch?
TEST spring loaded to TK/GS
Test all lights in data display
Ten second self-test follows
Use ONLY in alignment
ON DC light on means?
AC power abnormal - related IRS is operating from the Switched Hot Battery Bus
On ground-ground call horn from nose wheel well
Momentary light during alignment self test normal
If Right IRS ON DC power removed after 5 min
DC FAIL LIGHT
DC power to related IRS not normal
If the other lights are extinguished the IRS is operating normally on AC power

What is the Right IRS Primary/Backup power?
P-AC Transfer Bus 2
B-DC from Switched Battery Buss
What is the power source for IRS initial Alignment?
Battery Bus (Required)
What does the ALIGN warning light on the IRS overhead panel mean?
Steady-IRS in Align, initial ATT, or shutdown mode
Flashing-Alignment cannot be completed due to
Sig diff between prev posit and entered posit
Presen Pos unreasonable oe none entered
Autothrottles are controlled by?
Engine EECs
NORM or ALTN
Both EECs recommended to be in same mode (NORM or ALTN) to minimize thrust lever separation
