What is fitness components?
A series of seven categories used to identify specific aspects of an athletes overall fitness.
What is aerobic capacity?
The ability of the heart, lungs and circulatory system to supply oxygen and other nutrients to working muscles so that can athlete can exercise continuously for extended periods without tiring.
What is power?
The ability to exert maximum force in the shortest period of time.
What is Speed?
The ability move the entire body quickly.
What is agility?
The ability to move the entire body from one position to another, or from one direction to another quickly and precisely.
What is muscular endurance?
The ability to sustain or repeat a series of muscle contractions without fatigue.
What is flexibility?
The ability for a joint to move through its full range of motion
What is fitness profile and training program?
Data gathered on each of the different components of fitness allow coaches to develop a fitness profile anda training program suited to the requirements of the individual.
