Describe nephrocalcinosis in fish.
What species is particularly susceptible?

Nephrocalcinosis.
- Rainbow trout production.
- Associated with high CO2 levels, also dietary manganese deficiency and selenium, arsenic toxicity.
- Lesions – hard, off-white renal nodules.
- Histo – tubular accumulations of mineral without apparent epithelial cell damage, granulomatous inflammation, fibrosis
