Non-intrusive diagnostics are performed in real time with the VOBC in the passive or active state and do not interfere with the VOBC operation.

Intrusive Maintenance Connection

1. Remove power from the VOBC.
2. Connect and power on the FLMD.
3. Open TeraTerm.
4. Setup TeraTerm with the correct settings.
5. Power on the VOBC.
6. Press ‘enter’ within six seconds so that the VOBC enters maintenance mode.
7. Enter the diagnostic command for the information required.

Non-Intrusive Maintenance Connection

1. Connect and power the on FLMD.
2. Open TeraTerm
3. Setup TeraTerm with the correct settings.
4. The terminal will display a continuous steam of real time data.
5. When the vehicle is stationary press enter to stop the real time dump and enter NI maintenance mode.
