Enable Tripcock Device
A
ETD is used to exit a migration boundary, forcing the latch relays into tripcock mode.

Inhibit Tripcock Device
A
ITD is used to enter a migration boundary, forcing the latch relays into CBTC mode.

Entering a CBTC area
A
- Move MCS to inter.
- Plug the ITD into the socket in the active cab under the VOBC.
- Ensure the red wrong mode light is lit on the ITD.
- Press the override button and ensure the yettlow correct mode light is lit.
- Unplug the ITD.
- Ensure brakes do not release in tripcock mode.

Leaving a CBTC area
A
- Move the MCS to inter.
- Plug the ETD into the socket in the active cab under the VOBC.
- Ensure the red wrong mode light is lit on the ETD.
- Press the override button and ensure the yettlow correct mode light is lit.
- Unplug the ETD.
- Ensure the brakes release in tripcock mode.
