Minimizing your exposure to the threat

Be ready to articulate why you shot the person and why they were an imminent threat of serious physical injury to you

Dies not provide protection from incoming rounds

How should you move to cover/change positions?
L movement
Move laterally before moving directly towards it
What is the difference between shooting over vs shooting around?
Shooting around: exposes less of you but decreases view
Shooting over: exposes more of your body while increasing view
What is the primary purpose of criminal justice firearms?
Protect human life
