A

-discharge fx into bag
-seal bag and wait 30 seconds
-Dampen and cool down contents
-monitor for remainder of the flight

A

-Flight deck door should be kept closed
-FC should wear oxygen masks as it’s a small space
-CC may be required to bring additional fire equipment to the flight deck

What’s the lithium battery fire drill?

A

-First crew member at scene will shout or make PA “CC FCB *location” x2
-If flames are present get FX
-CC nearest FCB will bring it over
-Smoke hood, goggles or mask should be used
-Put out fire
-If connected to ISPS isolate electricity
-Place device inbetween pads and put in FCB

A

-Once fire has been put out place pads and fire blanket over the device (if possible) place into FCB and monitor it for the duration of flight.

A

-Shout for FX if
-Locate heat with back of hand
- Open the over head locker 2.5m
-Discharge the FX and close for 30 seconds
-Repeat if flames still present
-Re-open and use fire gloves to remove contents
-place in metal box and dampen
-Monitor for the rest of the flight

A

-Distinguish FX at the fire
-Once flames have gone remove seat cushion and put in metal box and dampen

A

-Ensure oven door is shut
-Isolate electrical supply
-Remove flammable objects from the area
-Open door with caution and check for flames
-Discharge FX on fire
-Close door for 30 seconds
-Cautiously open door
-Look for contents and cause of fire
-Check surrounding areas for signs of fire
-Monitor oven for rest of flight
