Q

Decentralized Authority Structure

A

Under a decentralized authority structure, decision-making is delegated to an extent. Decisions that may have more significant impact on the department may still rest with those at the top, but day-to-day and specific operational decisions may be made at the discretion of lower-ranked personnel.
