Term n = a + (n - 1) x d where a is Term 1, n is the term you are trying to find out and d is the common difference by which terms are decreasing or increasing.

To solve this apply the formula and replace the appropriate numbers. Term 10 = 2 + (10 - 1) x 2. This gives us the answer 20. The 10th term is 20.
