For each panelist, you get to deliver one final message to the audience about being a mentor – the top thing they should take away from tonight – what is it?

Mentoring is often not as formal as it’s often described - many of your everyday interactions are an opportunity for a mini peer mentoring session. Any time there’s an experience differential in what you’re working on with somebody is a potential opportunity. That same person may be able to mentor you in other areas. So learn how to share advice sensitively so it’s not completely unsolicited and unwanted. BE RADICALLY GENEROUS. Why? The benefits of being a mentor are not really transactional, they’re indirect and no less valuable.
