Allusion
Reference to another literary figure, event, or character
Apostrophe
Figure of speech used to address an absent or imaginary person/object as if it were a real thing before the speaker
Soliloquy
Speech spoken by an actor alone on stage
Aside
remark made by a character that is not meant to be heard by other characters, but only to the audience
Prose
ordinary language or literary expression not marked by rhythm or rhyme

play on words
