What are the lines of pelvimetry in the cow?
Transverse diameter: distance between right and left psoas minor tubercles on the ischium.
Vertical diameter: distance between the pubic tubercle and the roof of the pelvic cavity.
Conjugata: distance between the pubic tubercle and the sacral promontory
What are the boundaries of the pelvic cavity?
Pelvic roof: sacrum and first few caudal vertebrae
Lateral pelvic wall: Ilium and sacrosciatic ligaments
Pelvic floor: Ischium, pubis and pelvic symphysis
What are the differences between the sacrosciatic ligament in the horse and ruminant?
In the ruminant, the caudal gluteal artery and vein pass through the lesser ischiatic foramen while only the tendon of the internal obturator passes through in
