A

Groundhog day 1993 = uses repetition to predict the future - not portrayed as positive. Although humans like familiarity can lead to depression. Problem with inhabiting long term memory - activation causes recollective experience that is uncontrollable.

Fifty first dates = Herpes Simplex Encephalitis, somewhat accurate, loss of consciousness, damage to front temporal lobe, loses autobiographical but maintains procedural knowledge.
