What are the physical findings of fibroadenosis?
A
Single or multiple lumps in one or both breasts.
May be acutely tender esp premenstrually.

Mammography appearance of fibroadenosis?
A
Dense fibrosis with micro-/macrocystic change

Mx of fibroadenosis?
A
If malignancy excluded (using FNAC/mammography), reassurance primary mx.

Demographic fibroadenoma?
A
Younger women; infrequent after 35-40y.

Clinical features of fibroadenoma?
A
- Pain and other symptoms absent
- Well circumscribed lump
- Rubbery firm consistency
- May be highly mobile
- Hormone depenent

How should fibroadenoma be investigated?
A
Triple assessment

Treatment of fibroadenoma?
A
Generally conservative (serial observation). Consider if 2-3cm and growing on serial U/S (6months over 2y).
