A

Top: Lords/Kings: He gave land to nobles in return for money and knights. He kept one quarter to himself.

2nd level: Nobles: Would give land to knights as fief, for protection.

3rd level: Knights: Protection to the land, in return for food and stability.

Bottom: Peasants, Serfs: Get protection from knights, and would give food to and services to the people.
