Crop rotation
This meant that they would grow different crops each year, and keep one fallow(empty) field. This would help them make the most of their fields before they died.
What was so important for farming in the Middle Ages, and where was it kept?
Sheep Manure, it was kept in the nobles grounds.
What was a sport was only limited to the wealthy?
Hunting
Who owned fishing rights?
The lord.
What would happen if a lower class citizen was caught hunting?
Punishment.
If you were illegally caught hunting, what were you called?
A poacher.
What were two agricultural inventions?
Heavy plow and horseshoes.
