Feminist theory evaluates work that reflects male ideology - literature and writing which reinforces discrimination against women economically, politically, socially, and in other aspects
patriarchy
A system in which the authority is men; being in charge of and dominating the system - can be economically, socially, politically etc
Oppression
A form of injustice through authority, regulations, or physical force to prevent freedom or equality against a specific group or minority
Male Privilege
The privilege men receive without earning due to male dominated societies
Misogyny
Assumption that women are less deserving than men - negative attitude
Backlash
Negative reaction towards women fighting for equality
Stereotypes
A standardized image created due to misconceptions and norms
Infantilization
Women reduced to an infantile state - childish and innocent
