Are female preparation for pregnancy and sex the same?
No, Female preparation for prengnacy is different than female preparation for sex.
Week 1 (menstruation)
The period lasts approximately 3-5 days
The blood rich tissue that was building up for a pregnancy sheds out of the vagina.
Hormones levels are actually low (have dropped since there was no pregnancy)
Week 2 the follicular phase
Between 7 to 12 days.
The brain tells to start preparing eggs inside their follicles(FSH- follicle stimulating hormone)
The uterus is being prepared again for a potential pregnancy.
Hormone levels start to rise
Week 3 Ovulation
Week 3-Ovulation
Typically occurs between days 14-17.
Ovulation is when the follicle burst and releases the mature egg, it gets swept up by the fimbriae, and starts traveling down the fallopian tube.
This is when fertilization typically occurs( the sperm meets the egg)
Hormone levels still high
Week 4 Luteal Phase
The women Is waiting to see if their is a pregnancy so The hormone levels are Still high. If no Fertilization occurs, then the cycle starts again and hormone levels drop PMS (premenstrual syndrome) occurs Cramping, Breast tenderness Moodiness

Arousal: Stimulation to the vulva
(labia and clitoris) causes the cervix to release a lubricating fluid which coats the vagina
Women can have sex at any time, any day, all throughout their life
