what is intrinsic feedback

A

come from within
relates to how a movement feels known as kinesthetic feel
-inexperienced performers can’t rely on this
+experienced performers have developed kinesthetic feel so they will know if movement is bad or not
leads to self assessment and correction

what is extrinsic feedback

A

comes from a coach usually combined with visual or verbal guidance as coach tells what right or wrong
+needed for less experienced performers
+experienced performers use both intrinsic and extrinsic to get full picture on how they did

what is concurrent feedback

A

takes place DURING performance and can be intrinsic or extrinsic
+can make adjustments as they go
+alter things done wrong by coach or kinesthetic feel
