classification of skill 2.1 Flashcards
What do the classifications of skill take in to account
the factors that surround the performer when they execute a skill
what does the open ——— closed continuum represent
closed shows skills not effected by environment around them because they are predictable and there are little variables to consider out of the performers control
open skills are opposite and are effected by unpredictable and changeable environment and conditions of teammates and opposition
what does the basic ———– complex continuum represent
basic skills have few sub routines and require a low level of attention to complete
complex skills are full of sub routines and requires lot of concentration because they are very difficult
what does the low ————— high organisation represent
low organisation skills can be split easily into different sub routines and practiced seperately - long jump
high organisation skills only practiced entirely - cycling
