Hood Canal Bridge –
Pontoon bridge, between Salsbury Pt and Termination Pt, 2 fixed openings (35’ @ W, 55’ @ E). 600’ center has retracting pontoons.
Thorndyke Bay –
small bight on W side of Hood Canal
N of Bangor
Port Gamble Bay –
2nm long w/ narrow entrance. Dredged channel 23’ from Hood into bay. Marked by 4 lts
Port Gamble –
Prominent church steeple, flagpole in town. Lumbermill and wharf.
Sisters –
S of Termination Pt, 2 rocks, 200yds apart, awash at half tide, Lt on S rock.
Squamish Harbor –
open bight SW of Termination Pt
Bangor Wharf –
Bangor US Sub Base. Has 2 radio towers, 500’ & 459’ with red aircraft warning lights on wharf. Vessels S bound from Hood Canal Bridge can use towers as range (200.6)

shoal extends 200yds+, at W entrance to Seabeck Bay, has Lt 300yds NE.
