What are the essential fatty acids?

Alpha-linolenic acia

How are fats digested and absorbed?
A
In the stomach, the enzyme lipase acts upon the fats to break them down. They then move onto the msall intestine where pancreatic lipase is excreted and acts upon fats to break them down. Bile is also relased from the liver which breaks fats down.
Fats are absorbed by the villus in the lymphatic system.
