A

Fats provide us with energy, vitamins A, D, E and K. As well as this, it provides a protective layer around delicate vital organs

What are the two types of fat?

A

1.Saturated-if you have too much it blocks arteries and causes heart disease. It is found in animal sources as well as palm oil and coconut oil

2.Unsaturated-these can help lower the risk of heart disease. They are found in most plant foods. Such as, olives, nuts and avocados. It is also found in oily fish and eggs.
