- You can format a row’s background and bottom lines BY OUTLINE LEVEL. Level One could be yellow, Level Two green, etc. How is this done?
Select the rows you want to format, then FORMAT: ROW. The FORMAT ROW dialog appears. Select OUTLINE STYLES and make your choices
- What is a SUMMARY BAR?
They SUMMARIZE a TASK’S SUB ACTIVITIES.
- How do you control SUMMARY BARS?
You format the ROW to show SUMMARY BARS by selecting the row/rows, and FORMAT: ROW, then you make your choices.
- What are the MILESTONE options in the SUMMARY BAR dialog?
You can specify a summary milestone either in a single style, which you can specify, or, for each style of milestone in an activity’s outline levels.
- What is AUTOFIT?
AutoFitting row height automatically resizes the height of activity or resource rows to fit the text and items (bars, pictures, text boxes) in each row’s cells.
- How do you set AUTOFIT?

- What is GO TO ROW NUMBER?
This command scrolls the Schedule View or Resource View to display the row whose number you enter. This is helpful when viewing files with a large number of rows.
- How do you access GO TO ROW NUMBER?
EDIT MENU: GO TO: ROW, then select GO TO and choose ROW from the submenu
