One person living alone or a group of people who share the same address & living arrangements

What is a NUCLEAR family?
2 generations living together - parents & children - they must choose to & make an effort to have contact with other family members
What is an EXTENDED family?
3 generations living together in the same household = daily contact with them
What is a RECONSTITUTED family?
1 or both parents have been previously married & have children from that relationship = step parent for each child
What is a LONE PARENT family?
1 single male/female parent & dependant children
What is a GAY & LESBIAN household?
Same sex couple living as a family with children
What is a SINGLE person household?
A person living on their own
