-This vision teaches Scrooge that he could easily help and with a little bit of money and support, could change an entire families lives.

STAVE 4
The repetition of ‘kissed’ shows how close the Cratchits are as a family which teaches Scrooge the importance of family in times of great sadness. Despite their poverty and loss, they can come together and be stronger as a result.
‘To Tiny Tim, who did not die, he was a second father.’
STAVE 5
Scrooge **gains a family ** through his generosity and care for the poor.
‘Wonderful party, wonderful games, wonderful unanimity, won-der-ful happiness!

The repetition of ‘wonderful’ emphasises how being amongst Fred’s family fills him with the utmost joy.
