Falcon 20 F Fault Panel Flashcards
What is indicated by the HOT BAT light?
Ni Cad battery exceeds 150 degrees F.
PARK BRAKE
Brake system pressure below 1200 psi
REFUEL
Triggered by any one of the following 4 situations:
- Refuel Switches are not off (panel active)
- Refuel Doors are open
- Master refuel switch is on
- Vent Valve is open
BATTERY
At least one battery is not connected to the main bus.
APU
Flashes when APU is operating above 12,000 ft and approaching the 15,000ft APU operational limit.
COMPTR 1, COMPTR 2
- The respective engine computer has failed.
- The computer switch is in the manual or off position
- Voltage to the DEEC is less than 12.5 volts
- Voltage of the emergency computer battery(ies) is less than 22VDC
BLEED OVHT 1, BLEED OVHT 2
The respective engine bleed has exceeded temperature limits (greater than 300°C). This also causes the respective P3 and PRV valves to close automatically.
DOOR
The main cabin entrance door is not locked, or the exterior door handle is not in the locked position.
The rear compartment access door is not closed. This light operates from one microswitch mounted on the rear compartment door lock.
GEN 1, GEN 2
The left or right engine DC generator is not supplying power to the main bus. Either DC GEN light illuminates when the corresponding reverse-current relay opens.
HYD 1, HYD 2
Main hydraulic pump pressure is less than 2150 psi.
Amber FUEL TRANSFER lights that are below the fuel gauge are illuminated (not on the master fault panel).
Fuel transfer pressure drops below 4 psi. (Does not illuminate if transfer switch is turned off)
YAW OFF
It indicates that the yaw damper is disengaged. Automatic disengagement takes place when the yaw damper deflection exceeds 4° or there is a loss of AC power.
OIL 1, OIL 2
The respective engine oil pressure is too low. It illuminates when the oil pressure drops below 25 psi or a chip is detected.
AQ ROLL or AQ PITCH
Two red Arthur warning lights (one for roll, one for pitch) illuminate whenever the Arthur unit position does not agree with the high or low-speed modes of flight. High speed disagreement interrogation takes place at approximately 265 knots. Low speed disagreement takes place whenever the right DLE is extended.
CABIN
The cabin altitude is higher than 10,000 ft or the cabin differential pressure is higher than 8.7 psi.
