How many and what size air filters are there in the FADS III? Where are they located?
There are two 10 micron in-line filters (both designated F-020) located inside the CCA; one is on the A Supply side and the other is on the B Supply side.
Why do we switch between A supply and B supply on odd/even diving days?
The intended purpose is to not cause more wear on a individual supply, but rather wear the supplies evenly. Primarily the regulators.
Explain step by step how to properly install and torque a deck hose to the back of the FADS III.
- Remove designated port cap and hose plug; check for damaged threads.
- Connect hose to CCA port- tighten fitting finger tight and then tighten wrench tight not to exceed 1/8 turn or 72 in-lbs.
- Connect strain relief.
Utilizing KM-37 with EGS, what is the maximum depth for SSD with our current configuration?
