The front of the head’ over the frontal bones, it moves the scalp forwards.
Where is the frontalis located and what is its function
Where is the Orbiculais oculi located and what is its function
It’s the muscle around the eye which closes the eyelid. This is the 3 rd one down on the right hand side of the diagam
Where is the zygomatic major found and what is its function.
Its the thin muscle that moves the mouth into a smile.
Where are the Buccinators situated and what are their functions.
Compresses cheek against teeth below the zygomatic major on the diagram
Where is the Risorius
It’s bellow the buccinators on the face diagram. Just by the corner of the mouth
Where is the orbiculares Oris
Sphincter muscles around the mouth makes an O shape.
Mentails, where is it
Just below the chin, turn the lips outwards
Temporalis, where is it on the body.
Raises and retracts from the lower jaw. ( n.o1 on the left hand side of the diagram.)
Where are the occipitals
Second down on the left hand side of the diagram moves the scalp backwards
Where is the masseter
It raises the Lower jaw, 3rd down on the left hand side
Where is the sterno-cleido mastoid
It’s on the side of your neck, it holds your head up like a MAST. 4th down on the left hand side
Where is the platysma
Runs along the front side of the neck, closes the mouth. Bottom answer on the left
