Confrontation test
Cover same eye as exam giver and have them say when they can see the hand, do for each eye on both sides
Periphery is equal to or better than examiners

Snellen and near vision test
A
Verbalize
Snellen - stand 20 feet cover one eye at a time and read as far down as possible, 20/20 is perfect vision
Near vision - hand them a piece of paper and see how close or far they have to hold it, 14/14 is perfect vision
