Positioning

A

Maxilla:
- max occlusal plane (45-60 degrees)
- height (shoulder minus 3 inches)
- can turn patients head to improve access and visuals

Mandible:
- occlusal plane parallel to floor
- lower than or at elbow (-6 inches)
