Explain metamorphic rocks
A
They form under the surface of the earth from the metamorphosis that occurs due to intense heat and pressure.

Explain igneous rock
A
They are formed when magma cools and hardens. Sometimes magma cools inside the earth, and other times it erupts onto the surface from volcanoes. When lava cools very quickly, no crystals form and the rock looks shiny and glasslike.

They are formed of sand, shells, pebbles, and other fragments of material. The rock accumulates in layers and over a long period of time it hardens into rock. Its fairly soft and can easily crumble
