Q

How to give someone commands

A

To give commands or make suggestions to someone you address with du, use the
du-imperative. The du-imperative for most verbs is simply the verb stem without an ending.
Sie- and wir-imperatives include the pronoun; ihr- and duimperatives do not.

Verb stems ending in -d or -t usually add an -e to the stem (e.g. Arbeitest - Arbeite)

The ihr-imperative is identical to the present-tense ihr-form but without the pronoun.
