“Bis gleich” (shortest amt of time), “bis nachher” and “bis später” are used when you expect to see someone rather soon, pretty much always on the same day.
“Bis demnächst“ (always unspecific, typically used as a sort of informal farewell), “bis dann” (plans made but longer time), “bis bald” are typically used when you expect more time to pass until seeing the other person again.
