It connected Europe and Asia and sparked a desire to learn about different cultures.
What was Columbus’ contribution to the explorer’s movement?
He lead the way for the European exploration of America.
Why wasn’t America named after Columbus?
He thought he had discovered a new water route to India and not a whole new continent.
What was the Columbian Exchange?
Once the Europeans began traveling to the West Indies and Americas, they brought goods with them and other items back to Europe.
