Name the three marks of existence
-Anicca( Impermanence ): Instability, lack of permanence Imagine you have a favorite toy. You love playing with it every day. But then, one day, it breaks. That’s impermanence! Impermanence is the idea that everything changes or ends eventually. In Buddhism, they call it “anicca.” It’s like saying nothing stays the same forever. Just like how your toy broke, everything in life changes or goes away at some point. So, Buddhists believe it’s important to understand and accept this idea of impermanence to find peace.
- Dukkhaa (Dissatisfaction) Everything leads to suffering
- Anatta ( No soul) Idea that people can and do change in life.
