Because they brought with them their own style and design which is seen in many Catholic Churches across Scotland one example is teh cox stack in Dundee, the Cox stack is a chimney from Camperdown works jute mill that was designed in an Italian style

A

Because they set up cafes which created somewhere for Scot’s to meet, particularly young people, particularly late at night and offered new foods such as fish and chips and ice cream, for example visocchis in Broughty Ferry Dundee.

Because many Irish immigrants were catholic, there was a massive rise of Catholicism in Scotland which led to an increase in the number of churches being built, for example St.Patrick’s church in Dundee was founded by Irish immigrants
