What is the minimum age to become a President?
35 years old.
A President has to be a natural-born citizen. What does natural born-citizen mean?
They were born in the United States or any land under its supervision.
How long must a person reside in the United States before they can run for Presidency?
14 Years
A President or Vice-President can be impeached. What does impeach mean?
Abuse of ones power.
What happens to the President or Vice-President if the Senate convicts him/her of impeachment?
They get removed from office.
What three choices does the President have in regards to a bill that has passed in Congress.
The President can sign the bill into law.
The President can ignore the bill and it becomes a law in 10 days.
The President can veto a bill.
How can the Legislative branch overrule a Presidential veto?
By a 2/3 vote of approval on the bill. The bill then becomes a law.
What is the main job of the Executive Branch?
To enforce the laws.

How are cabinet members and Supreme Court justices given their position?
The President chooses who he/she wants for the job and the Senate has to approve the President’s choice.
How long is one term for a President before re-election?
4 years
How many terms can a President serve?
2 terms.
There is the possibility that the Vice-President become President. If this happens, what is the maximum number of years this person can serve in the President’s position?
10 years.
